MFP report destroys PM's adjustment
The general consolidated budget's revenues amounted to only 97.2% of the quarterly target in Q2, 2018, mainly because of a very low absorption rate for EU funds (45.4%). New Fiscal Code to come into force on January 1, 2019
The new Fiscal Code will come into force on January 1, 2019, which means that the private sector still has time to present its own ideas to the Cabinet. Consulting firm EY Romania has already submitted a list of proposals designed to streamline the process of paying taxes and reduce the cost of compliance. State in no hurry to invest in people

Implementing criminal responsibility for BNR's management requires BNR's own approval
Senator Daniel Zamfir, author of the debtor relief law, submitted in the past Parliament session a bill that would eliminate the immunity from criminal and civil prosecution for BNR's board in connection with its prudential supervision duties.
