Doina holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Academy of Economic Studies (ASE București), with a major in trade, and an Executive Masters in Business Administration from the Washington University - Seattle. Her expertise and professional career are related to advocacy and management consultancy services.
Between 1991-1996, Doina was Senior Consultant with Roland Berger & Partner, followed by two short assignments with Larive (in charge with the Investment Fund Eurobalance) and with Deloitte & Touche.
Doina started working with Foreign Investors Council from its inception in 1997 and she has been with the Council ever since. After 19 years FIC is widely recognized as one of the most respected and influential advocacy associations in Romania, whose positions and recommendations are reasoned and sound.
Doina’s main objective with the FIC is to assist in developing the most effective business environment, within a framework of strong social responsibility and sustainable development.
Public Affairs & Legal Manager
Alexandra holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a Master in Public Institutions Management.
She started working at Foreign Investors Council in 2015 and before joining FIC she worked for a law company. At FIC she is a Public Affairs and Legal Manager, dealing with advocacy and strategies approach activities, developing internal procedures, research and analysis of relevant legislative developments and prepares reports for the management, coordinating the activity of the FIC Task Forces and working groups, being also involved in organizing and participating at meetings with authorities and coordination of different projects together with the rest of the team.
Administrative & HR Manager
Corina holds a Masters in Human Resources having more than 10 years’ experience in HR, communication and administrative areas. She started working at Foreign Investors Council in 2010 and before joining FIC she worked as HR specialist, financial analyst and recruiter for several companies from different domains (recruiting agency, IT & Telecom, insurance or constructions). Being part of the FIC team she deals with administrative and office management, logistics, HR and accounting tasks, communication with FIC members, organizing meetings and events, being also involved in different projects together with the rest of the team.
Public Affairs Specialist
Emma holds a Bachelor degree in Political Science in French language from the University of Bucharest and a MA degree in International Economy and European Affairs from the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. Her interest areas are economy, public policy, European and international relations. She has previously been associated with The German Marshall Fund of the US think tank and the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium to Romania, where she extended her experience and expertise in these fields.
Emma strongly believes in the importance of networks of young leaders, so she joined a few by representing Romania to the Economic Forum of Young Leaders (Poland) and the Francophone Parliamentary Assembly (Switzerland). She was also among the organizers of three high level international events - the Brussels Forum 2018, NATO Engages 2018, as well as the Bucharest Forum 2018. At FIC, she will combine her passion for economy and policy matters in her job as Public Affairs specialist.
Alexandru holds a Bachelor degree in Economics and a Master degree in Business Comunication, both from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest. He was part of the team created for working on the second edition of the Foreign Direct Investment report, which was made available by FIC in late 2020. Coming from the world of fiscal consultancy where he spent almost four years, Alexandru decided to join FIC and extend his expertise in the field of public policy and advocacy. At FIC, Alexandru will concentrate on the branch of economics which focuses on the behavior and decision-making of an economy as a whole, being also involved in all the FIC projects together with the rest of the team.
